1984 GL1200I’84

  • The Interstate for 1984 was similar to the 1100 cc unit of 1983
  • Unlike the 1984 GL1200’84, the Interstate had a full fairing, saddlebags, and trunk

1985 GL1200I’85

  • You will probably notice that the basic Gold Wing (i.e., the one without the fairing & bags) was missing in 1985
  • Honda still fielded three wings, but dropped the bottom model and added one at the top
